When a foreign teacher at Shangqiu Normal University, north central China's Henan Province, brought his 13-year-old son to a class, many students took photos and videos of him and shared them online. Little did they know that the posts would attract millions of likes, comments and shares.Many said that the son looks very handsome, good-tempered, and has a friendly smile.In one of the videos that went viral online, the teacher introduced his son to the students who cheered and said they would never miss the class. In subsequent videos, some students came to the classroom earlier to grab best seats where they could be closer to the teacher's son.
As the teacher and his son walked into the classroom, the students immediately burst into enthusiastic applause and cheers. The teacher said he was very happy to see the students being so energetic and eager to attend his class.
When the videos were shared online, they quickly went viral and many netizens commented that they wished to go to the school and attend the class. Some even said that they would choose Shangqiu Normal University for their higher education just to attend this teacher's class.While the boy's physical appearance was one of the topics that was mostly talked about, the students said that they were more attracted by the boy's willingness to accompany his father to the class, which displayed a harmonious relationship between the two."After seeing the father and son duo entering the class, I got the feeling of a very harmonious father-son relationship and got to appreciate the importance of family affection." Said one of the students.To many students, the class session not only brought joy and happiness, but also promoted family and social harmony.Many have also applauded the boy for his good temper, saying that he never reject anyone who wants to take a photo or video of him.No one knows why the teacher takes his son to the class with him, but it has proven fruitful and a positive move to encourage students attend his class.
